CENTRAL GAZA — Israeli forces continued military operations in central Gaza on Thursday, carrying out strikes that Israeli officials said were aimed at Hamas infrastructure as negotiations over the next phase of a broader ceasefire and reconstruction framework remained at an impasse.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its operations targeted locations believed to be used for military purposes, while Palestinian officials reported damage in residential areas and additional civilian displacement.
